My name is Luke and I am 25 years old. Bit of backstory first. I’m reading Unscripted right now and it’s genuinely changing how I think. Every chapter is articulating things I’d half-felt for years but never had the language for, the script we’re all on, why hustle culture is just a slower version of the same trap, what actually building something on your own terms looks like. Best book I’ve read in a long time, and the reason I finally stopped talking about building something and actually started.
So, I’ve been working on this solo for a few months and figured I’d put it out here before I push harder on it.
It’s called mmnts. A private social app for sharing small moments of your life with the people who actually want to see them. No likes, no comments, no follower counts, no algorithm. Every connection is mutual and has to be approved.
Honestly I’m building it because every other place to share has a tax. Instagram makes you perform. Close Friends is still Instagram. Group chats scroll away and you lose everything. I just wanted somewhere I could post my coffee or the weird sky or my kid’s drawing without thinking about who’s watching or whether it’s “worth posting.”
