Building a Homepage for fearing newbys

25 years ago i built a simple homepage to start a business. I got a programm, worked some weeks and at any time, I set it online and it was an awful work.

Btw: the business didn’t work at all. 0 € plus.

Now after pushing that work a good tome, 2 days ago I decided to be time to start a project again.

Got the domain I wanted and than started just by clicking some points at the hoster homepage. And some clicks further wordpress was installed.
Choosed a theme. There are good ones for free!
And than I clicked through wordpress and after the 2 hours mark-I set it before for me- i looked at my new hp and thought WOW! Is that easy!

Why I do write that here? Of course you all know, that its easy, but sure there are newbes like me, being afraid of the work of building a hp.
And to those I want to say: its so easy, just do it!
Its intuitive. And if you need help, youtube and google are Our friend for quite far of it!

Easy, just get started!

Had an issue today. After writing some hours , WP decided not to honour this and deleted it.
Dont know my mistake jet.
but i writing text is better to do in word and lateron copy and paste to wp.

I short update. I made a hp. I really liked it.
Now there are new laws, the Datenschutzgrundverordnung.
So you must tell any detail about what your page does with the dates ( data protection). It can become expensive here in Germany, if you do something wrong there.
by the time, I first destroyed the page and second I lost any mod for creating a homepags.
So after lounching it, put it on I maintenance modus again and I think my nerves are not built for doing this in Germany.

I ll sell my stock on ebay and finish this chapter of my life.

Dong online in Germany is no fun!

edith: my frustration is gone today. I ll have another look on it.

A wonderfull new judgement: users actively must clic, that they want cookies.
I found no Solution for my shopify shop. And none for WP so fast.
So I paused it before it becomes expensive for me.
So I did with my WP blog.

I m so tyred of that German way of dealing that all.

edit: that doesn’t mean, I give up! I just need some time to adjust and in the meantime I don’t want to risk anything expensive!
