So im going to be a Senior in high school and it is about time to start applying to colleges. I am currently about to launch my first business, and love entrepreneurship so thats what im looking to Major in. So i had a list of about 9 colleges that offer Entrepreneurship as a major.

After doing more research the other night, I realized that a couple of them only offer Entrepreneurship as a focus. So i would be majoring in Management with a a focus in Entrepreneurship, which i dont want to do because everyone sats Management is too broad of a Major to be able to find a good job.

So that narrowed it down to about 5-6 colleges. Then i noticed one college offered a BSBA in Entrepreneurship and a different one offered a BBA in Entrepreneurship. So i did some research and what i found was that with a BSBA you are doing 60 hours of general educations and 60 hours specific to your major, and that with a BBA you are doing 30 hours of general education and 90 hours specific to your major. Now, i dont want to be taking a bunch of general education classes, because thats not what im going to school for. Im going to school for Entrepreneurship so i want a degree thats going to give me the most of Entrepreneurship.

This narrows my list down to 3 schools, one which is Hawaii (not a 1st choice) and the pother is a small school, and I want a big school. I read a list of top Entrepreneurial programs in the US (which some of my list of schools came from) and quite a few of them offered a BSBA and not a BBA.

So this brings me to my question, and more my parents questions: What difference does it make when searching for jobs/getting hired? Is a BBA more respected than a BSBA?

Also, TCU is one of my top choices, and they offer Entrepreneurial Management as their Management major, so its kinda a mixture of both. Which im not so sure about. So this made me think, another one of my top schools is SMU and they only offer Management with a focus in Entrepreneurship but they offer an MBA in Entrepreneurship. SO in yalls opinio, would you recommend a school that offers purely Entrepreneurship as a Major and 4 year program, or if I did 4 years at TCU and then got an MBA in Entrepreneurship at SMU which would be a 5 year program. Please dont factor money $$ into your opinion.

I aspire to be an Entrepreneur, and i suppose i can say i already am, but regardless chances are I will need a job out of college to build my capital to start up a company which is why my parents are wondering how much it matters when searching for jobs.

Also, not sure if any of yall majored in Entrepreneurship, but what kind of specific jobs options would there be (other than starting up a company) for someone with a major in Entrepreneurship?

Thanks a ton for the help, it is always appreciated. You guys are always awesome and help out a tooooon :)
