I finally finished it. This is the book that has been simmering in my brain for over a year. It was time to create a product (an online course) that would remove me from the lower-pay, 1 on 1 customer engagements. In order to create the course, I needed to write the book with a workbook and templates:

17,414 word book
one workbook
11 templates

It's ugly, it's incomplete, and it hasn't been stitched together yet. But I have 24 hours to pretty it up enough to hand off to my editor with placeholder images and a reasonable flow. (Why 24 hours? Because I'm a procrastinating fool, and signed up for Stickk with $10 going to an 'anti-charity' if I don't finish on time, that's why).

I haven't started marketing it yet. Handoff first. Then marketing (and pre-sales!) while it's edited. Then I fix it, hopefully without having to rewrite the whole thing. Then... feedback. More fixes. An email course. A webinar. A recorded webinar. High end in-person clients!

I get a little ahead of myself. First, sleep. Then, finalize the manuscript and email it out. Baby steps - in the right direction, I hope!

I used the snowflake method (which is technically for fiction, but I modified it), some blog and forum posts, and Evernote.

That's great news. I know exactly how you're feeling right now. It's a great feeling. Wait until you hold a real "tree-ware" copy in your hands. You'll be jumping around like a...something that jumps around a lot.
