Writing this post to keep track of my progress and current headspace... and to not be one of those forum members that MJ always criticizes: the one’s that post once and then are never seen again haha
I’m almost finished UnScripted and beginning to take action towards better understanding entrepreneurism and the industry I want to build a business in. So far this has included going to a couple university entrepreneurship events like idea hacking around a business problem and short seminars. I don’t feel like I’m doing enough but its difficult sometimes to balance with uni life. I’m in my last year though so that’s good and there are quite a lot of university resources available such as the events I mentioned above that I plan on taking advantage of while I can. Fortunately from May-August I won't be studying so that will be the time to grind and make big steps towards my goals.
This year’s plan is to get myself out there more, network, and really better understand the trends and problems in the industry I’m interested in, in order to learn about the skills I will need to gain (e.g. coding and web design) and to begin developing valid productocracy-type ideas.
Just 6 months ago I changed my long-time plan of doing a master’s degree and now I have no clue what post graduation is going to look like. What I do know is that I see the world differently now, that I am committed and motivated to create a life much better than I previously imagined possible, and that there is no going back!
