Anyone have experience in women's clothing?

I have had a product idea that I've semi-validated (they said they would buy, but that doesnt mean they actually will) in person with numerous women, and on social media websites.

The problem I'm having is - I'm a guy and the uniqueness of this product idea is that it fits a certain type of girl. I could easily get a few girls that fit the archetype to try on samples, but given I'm not privy to fit preferences, and body type nuances it would probably be hard for me to continually improve this. I would need to have women model it anyway and/or photoshop it on some models.

I feel like its something that would get a ton of returns even if gone through iterations of fit improvement.

IF I could get the product created, I'm pretty positive it would sell.

TLDR: On that note - does anyone, maybe men in particular, have experience in designing women's garments, in particular the fit and measurement of them? I'm comfortable with the "visual" design.
