I have about 60 Domains with parked.com seems to be ok but they are 2-click which i think is knocking me down on revenues a bit. Was wondering how hard it would be to set my own pages up. ovbiously it wouldnt be as easy setting new domains up but im wondering if i could just simply do it atleast for the pages that have clicks now and leave those underpreformers with parked until need be....

So anyone done it? and any know how to get it done?

Also do parking services take a portion of your revenues or no?

Have you tried any other parking companies? Just curious about your experience with one company or another, as I'm looking to park some of my domains with parked.com.

AFAIK Google policy doesn't allow that. You would have to have a really big portfolio or become a middle man. Check namedrive.com it's the best I've found for parking, you can customize a lot the templates.

Dont get me wrong parked is absolutley an excellent service, you can modify and optimize all your pages on one screen add key words etc etc.

to show you what it looks like www.ipomarketing.com (not putting this here for revenues)

All of mine are like the above a 2-click domain so i imagine im missing alot of clicks that way.

I did try SEDO, not only did i ever make money but i thought their pages looked a bit WEB 1.0 and i didnt like the backend at all either.

I don't mean to threadjack but could you explain what you mean by a "2 click domain" ? I tried googling it but didn't come up with anything applicable.

1 click would mean the ads would be on the first page you see when you click on my domain name. 2 clicks means you have to click once on a ttopic and then click on the ad, if you see the link i posted that is a two click domain. a 1-click page would be the second page on that domain would be the only one you see...... sorry that sounds kind of confusing

2 click is when the visitor has to make 2 clicks before you get paid. Google AdSense is "1 click" since you get paid for the first click, but their "link block" style ads would qualify as 2 click, since you click first to be taken to a page of ads, and then only if you click on one of the ads does the publisher get paid.

I have been meaning to try out this one: http://www.thelazydomainer.com/default.htm

Also, I have my domain with http://domainsponsor.com/ who just took over Moniker (Traffic Club) and my payouts have dropped dramatically, so I'm looking for a change too.

You visit the site, you see categories/topics, you click one and THEN you see the ads.

Thanks Jorge! I'll try out namedrive and see how it does. speed+

I still don't see how people actually click on these pages. They're rediculously easy to spot as soon as they open.

Several reasons that i have come to find:

#1 the population not well versed on the internet... in fact is still a large population

#2 misspelled or the like domains that are either direct typeins or errors that actually have the website the user was trying to reach in the ads or something similar, the convinence factor is there.

#3 like i found out with one of my domain names a very common misspelling of a printing process, well its now on the first page of google results and from the ads in it gives a very good description for the header in google, so a user clicks it and finds vendors for that process.

It take 2 to tango persay, you have to have good traffic, but you also have to rely on the ads to be well written and directed twords something specific. not to mention as always you have to have the correct ads on your page but thats ovbious.

I thought of trying to something similar to parking, but a little different. I joined an affiliate program, and I dropped the affililate link in the domain forwarding in my hosting account, so the second someone misspells the domain, they are automatically taken to this site through my affiliate link. I did this successfully through reunoun.com which is a horrible mispelling of reunion.com. I put it up yesterday, got one visit in one day.

Another one I am trying to do it with is ehameny.com which I currently have parked at sedo.com. However, eharmony.com does not have an affiliate program that I could find. So I joined match.com's affiliate program. But now my strategy has hit a snag. The text link they gave me was <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=uBRMeIwnq14&offerid=85515.10000047&type=3&subid=0" >Join&nbsp;Match.com</a><IMG border=0 width=1 height=1 src="http://ad.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/show?id=uBRMeIwnq14&bids=85515.10000047&type=3&subid=0" >, but this does not work as a valid forwarding domain.

Is anyone familiar with affiliate links so I can rip out what I need to still get credit from the link above? When I follow it it takes me to http://www.match.com/index.aspx?Tra...486&siteID=uBRMeIwnq14-RvQlLByMDBuoK7RxTTw75w, which I could forward to, but I am not sure that give me my credit or not.

@kurtyordy

With links like that, you can usually just take out the href part, in your case it would be:

http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=uBRMeIwnq14&offerid=85515.10000047&type=3&subid=0

and use it as a regular link. The img is a tracking image, but should only be for tracking impressions. However, I have heard of cases where the tracking image is required, so you will want to test.

Also, I believe eHarmony affiliate program is available through cj.com

Thanks for the info, eharmony would be better, I will have to join cj.com to get it, but that is great. I hope to beat the 2.00 I earned through sedo this month

I've set up a few one page domains which do ok. PM me and I'll email some examples I have. They are very simple to set up.
