This clip is from the show, Korea's Got Talent. It's modeled after the same American and British shows where a contestant tries out and the judges vote on whether to pass them on through the next round.

This Korean guy was an orphan since the age of 3 and he lived on the streets since the age of 5 after he ran away from his orphanage where he was abused. Despite all those odds, he still pursues his dream of becoming a singer. A very inspirational video:
