I started a website to make handouts downloadable in my college. Basically I live in a third world country and handouts are specific chapters of a textbook that are sold so I made a crappy website and uploaded a few of them and some assignments too 
I found out that over 90% of the students in my department used the website and downloaded stuff and even revisited. I was astonished by this so I made the website a little less crappy and added some content and I saw explosive growth.
After seeing this, I decided to add way more content and improve the design. After hundreds of hours of work and just when I was about to publish the site, I got suspended and still can't retrieve my work because of their shitty customer service. Right now I'm trying out another web hosting service
