I’ve been researching and creating NSFW content, which I currently share on Reddit and X. I also started a Fanvue page, but so far I’ve only earned about $400 since I’m not great at marketing. On Reddit, people often reach out asking for commission content, but a lot of the requests I get are unrealistic — sometimes involving deepfakes or other things I’m not comfortable with. I always reject those, as well as other requests, because I can’t be sure the person I’m talking to is over 18.
To clarify, I don’t do the “AI girlfriend” style of content — I focus on triple-X adult content. I’ve realized that this type of work is highly addictive for people since the possibilities seem endless. However, I’m stuck on how to approach selling content in a way that’s safe and legal. I’m worried about accidentally selling to someone underage, or if what I’m doing might be illegal altogether.
So my main question is: is this actually a good niche to get into? And before I go further, what steps should I take (both legally and from a business standpoint) to make sure I’m protected?
