I am currently joining an affiliate program to earn some cash and learn marketing first hand. The company I signed up for is a spam protection service for an affordable price. The customer pays at least $4.95 for me to earn a commission of $1.00 per customer. After 100 or more clients, I get $2.00 per customer. Since its subscription based, I get payed commissions every month. This is not bad, and since its spam protection, I plan on marketing individually as well as trying to cater to corporations depending on my understanding of the service. The site is supposed to launch today, but may take a few days.
For me, it will take a lot of time to market this, understand it, and try to get people involved, but the startup is affordable.
I realize this is not fastlane, but I am not an ideas kind of person and someone has already come up with such a good idea so I can learn from it. What do you guys think?
Oh, by the way, this is their site. If you see the likes, and the facebook page, he already has a lot of hype on it.
