OK, this is a surprise.

This was originally tagged at 1 trillion dollars, right? Or am I mixing this up w/another trillion dollar bail out?

Comments are welcome re how these funds were used, etc-- but keep it to BUSINESS, not POLITICS.

Ask yourself: What can I take away from the fact that it looks like we just spent LESS than estimated?

OR--- come back w/why this figure is bogus (ie, large upcoming anticipated expenses).

Do you know anyone that got TARP funds?

Are you sure?

Example: We received an SBA loan (have to pay it back) using TARP funds. Didn't even realize it was under TARP until my google alerts brought up a map w/all the local businesses that got SBA loans from TARP funds (I was stunned at how many-- and how many of the businesses I actually *knew*!)
