You could just come to Germany and throw away your old passport. Worked for millions of immigrants in the last few years.
Or just hop in a blow up boat and from France to Dover uk and you get a 4 star hotel and health care on arrival

I know its easier to get citizenship with Refugee. but problem is you cannot visit/go back ur home country where ur family there. I think depends on individual. some people is okay if they dun have family back home.

in Thailand you cannot get citizenship unless you were born there.

Thai citizenship is possible, although super difficult. Need to speak fluent Thai, numbers are limited each year etc etc. So not worth considering for the purpose of this thread

Yes Indeed. What I heard from some of my friends in Thailand, they said expats need to sing their King's song when they are applying for citizenship. HAHA I know it funny.

Hello,

Let's discuss how to acquire new passports, citizenship. I am from third world country and looking to migrate somewhere else.

Which countries easiest to migrate and get citizenship by naturalization? Is there any posts related in Fastlane INSIDERS?
It depends on how desperate you are.

I did this in slowlane.

I am Turkish originally and my ancestors were potato farmers, who were ethnical Turks as well.

I went to study in Germany, did a PhD (which is usually tied to a full / part time job at university) and then worked in a regular white collar job.

Depending on which state you live in, you can get it like this in 6 years. (as a university graduate) In the most conservative states 8 years. And the German bureaucracy is terrible, which puts another year on it. (I think you have to be paying social security for 4-5 years, but I am not sure on this)

I had to leave the Turkish citizenship though, which hurts to this day.

They have plans to reduce this to 5 years and allow multiple citizenships. (which will allow me to be Turkish again)

This might be a viable way, if you want to study something technical (like data science for example, education is almost free in Germany) and do your own thing after it. You can study & work at a part-time job and get citizenship from a liberal state like Hessen or Niedersachsen.

That sounds like quite a journey you've been on! It's interesting to hear about your experience navigating through the process of acquiring a new passport and second citizenship.
