I'm not sure if any of you have already gave this thought and have concluded if this is a good idea or not but here it is anyway:
Car insurance for the newbie/young driver in the UK
It is crazy expensive here for us young brokies to drive a car here. I'm not sure what its like in the USA or wherever you're from but over here its crazy.
insurance prices start at around £1.5k even for a shitty car and with a shitty driving behaviour monitor. I paid £2300 to drive an old 2004 honda for a year just for reference...AND with my mother on the policy which made things just a tad cheaper. If you want to drive a car here legally (with insurance) you will have to tie yourself down to a job, give up a huge slice of your savings (if you even have any) or have your parents pay for it which for most isn't an option i believe.
If there are any millionaires lurking here who live in the UK and looking to build something new, here's your idea. If you can provide insurance without extorting the young driver as much as every other company, the youth will sing songs in your name and tell stories about you to their children
