CREATE VALUE
One of the key lessons I have learned .....take in each instance of the day an opportunity to create value.
Could be as simple as:
-smile to the person you are passing in the hall
-email an article to a client about something in their industry that could help them
-say thank you to someone that helped you
-throw in an extra item on a large order as a token of appreciation
-remember a birthday or anniversary (easy to do by adding into your phone calendar!!)
-ask what other people do and then try to connect them with someone that may need what they offer
-review a client's business and find a way to make it better
This action of Creating Value can go by many names.... go the extra mile, give more than asked, leave things better than you found them........
Become known as the person who takes 1 + 1 and makes 3.
If each interaction with you is a positive one and those who come in contact with you leave better than they started, you will have a long life of business opportunities, good customers, good friends, and loving family.
