Hello, Ive been lurking here for a few days and decided to make a profile and engage a little bit more in what seems like a place for some great info and motivation.

Im 35 years old. I was suckered into the college trap. Finished with a B.a. in psychology, $40k in debt, and no direction. I always wanted to own my own business but wasnt sure how to attain that goal. After getting fired from my first real office job out of school, I tried starting a graffiti supply business as I was an artist myself and passionate about graffiti. It didnt take off. I then started a prescription vial supply business. I had some decent sales but my wholesaler increased prices and it was hard to remain competitive. All the while I've worked a slew of different jobs just to keep bread on the table and my marriage suffered tremendously. Now, Im currently in cosmetology school with the plan of opening up my own salon but am trying to start a successful business on the side and start growing it because I'm starving for success.
