I'm a A level student in the UK, and I'm studying economics. I need to use current economic data when I'm writing essays and there was no website or a simple way to display the data without all the additional fluff that I don't need for my exams. Everything I found was targeted towards professional individuals and there was nothing for students.
So ideas started lighting up, I spent 2 hrs playing and editing code in GPT and looking at tutorials (I have no coding knowledge whatsoever, literally had to search up coding apps to type code into lol).
And now I got this sweet little extension which takes one click and displays everything I need whenever I need it, no need to go on a 100 different government websites.
In retrospect I could've just wrote everything on a piece of paper but whatever lmao
One key problem I here my friends moaning about is context when writing essays, they hate looking at the news, scouring through irrelevant propaganda to find the one piece of data they need for their exams. I can definitely build something lean and useful here. Going to do some brainstorming, ideation, ask around and see if this develops into anything. Just made this thread as a little public journal.
