    Pursuing Mastery vs Entrepreneurship

    INTRO
Hi, My name is Mathias and I'm a 31 yr old Norwegian man. I'm currently doing a second M.Sc. in Software engineering. I already have 2 B.Sc. in Physics and Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Reservoir Physics. I've always had the entrepreneurial spirit, but also see myself as a career person. It's...

    Introduction

    INTRO
Hello Everyone my name is Kendrick Salazar. I am relatively new to this game, still havent actually gotten my feet wet in terms of having started a business, and am very much a student. These past years have been quite revealing to me and I have realized much of what I was brought up to think...

From Academia to Fastlania: Second Act in my Life

    INTRO
Growing up in Brisbane, Australia, I always wanted to be a scientist. Well, that's not quite true, but it's the story I've told myself for years now. I loved learning things, loved doing experiments and despite hating the idea of 'fame' I thought it would be cool if my name was in one of those...

Intro and transmuting lead to gold... figuratively ;)

    INTRO
Howdy folks, This is my first time in the forum, so I figured I should post an intro. I really like "process" so I learned to turn around businesses that aren't doing well. I think of it like alchemy, transmuting something of lesser value to something of greater value. I'm working on getting...

    MARKETING
I read the millionaire fastlane over two years ago and I decided to write about the higher education myth 'cause I'm a college dropout. I recently self-published the book although it hasn't yet appeared on Amazon, but it's on Kobo, Barnes and Noble, Scribd, and iBooks. The book needs reviews and...

Italki Tips (And Language Teaching in General)

    SIDE HUSTLE
Hi everyone, I posted some time ago about language learning tips and now I decided to take a step further to become a language teacher myself on a part-time based (apart from my full time job which is draining my energy at the moment). My "why's" behind this is I really enjoy teaching...

Ultimate Resource List (Websites, Books, and more!)

INTRO I've been browsing through this forum a bit and (forgive me if I'm wrong) I haven't seen a thread that shows a massive list of resources for learning. Obviously learning is vital to surviving in this day and age. Creating a business? Gotta know basic salesmanship, marketing, manufacturing...

    Utilizing the Internet

I've recently started my path as an entrepreneur, and I'm trying to learn new things to add to my toolbelt of skills. As discussed in TMF, utilizing the internet can lead to a lot of opportunities, such as providing some sort of online service. One example was a service that told you the...

    Last time you were bored?

    MINDSET
Entrepreneurs are usually never bored, because being bored means wasting time. Time is the most valueable asset of life, and if your "time gas tank" (Fastlane page 180) runs dry, you get a stinking lump of turd (Fastlane page 5). View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr7PvxWjfB0&app=desktop...

How to Recreate an Elite Ivy-League MBA Education at Home

Would you go to university/college for free?

In my home country (Sweden) college/university is free. You can take student loans to get some extra cash on the side, the median loan is $24,000. But this is optional and if you work instead you will probably not need a loan. Is there any objective reason to not go to university in my case...

Creating the next social media giant...

    MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
I’m willing to create a social media site but the thing is. I don’t know how sites like reddit tumblr or even Twitter make their money. I also don’t know how they are able to price their apps. I want to create a site that is either pay for once or subscription based. I would even replace patreon...
