My biggest regret is not focusing on my finances and creating a Fastlane-type goal when I was younger. If I had done this in 2003 then I would have made some progress and have found the Fastlane Forum much faster.

If I would have known how much pain, misery, and agony were to come later on down the road I would have focused on finances first ahead of everything. I would have probably been able to help my dad fight off his cancer and not have lost him last year instead.

Managing finances is a vital skill in life

One year ago today my oldest son died (he was only 29 years old). I regret not spending more time with him as he grew up. In the early years, I was always working a full-time job plus a part-time job. If that wasn't enough, at any given time, I was also trying to build a business of some kind. I fear that my lack of quality time and involvement with him on a daily basis is what lead him to the lifestyle that ultimately shortened his life.
I'm really sorry to hear :'(

Listening to all the dumbass sidewalkers and slowlaners around me.

Sorry family/friends. Most of you are doing pretty shitty, and you almost took me with you.

Choosing to get a Master's degree almost 10 years ago instead of going down the entrepreneurial path. Led me into the corporate world for 8 long years that could have been spent building a business.

My biggest regrets were letting emotions control my behaviors and actions. I also did not think about how my time is limited. I lived on auto-pilot and I have aged without getting much done.

My friend hooked me up with his best friend sister. What he failed to mention...

So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys, I was terrified! But I pressed on and as I made my way passed the breakers a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things but I tell you at that moment I was a marine biologist!

The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to return soup at a deli! I got about fifty-feet out and then suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell ya he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence he gave out a big bellow. I said, "Easy big fella!" And then as I watched him struggling I realized something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing I could see directly into the eye of the great fish!

Then from out of nowhere a huge title wave lifted, tossed like a cork and I found myself on top of him face to face with the blow-hole. I could barely see from all of the waves crashing down on top of me but I knew something was there so I reached my hand and pulled out the obstruction! A Golf ball.
