Hi all. Just a little intro of myself.
I'm currently finalising the first read of the millionaire fastlane .
I'm already 39 but hey, it's never too late to steer the wheel onto the right direction.
While I've been travelling the world as an employee jumping different jobs, I'm off the grid home educating my 2 kids since almost 3 years now (under wife's revenue) .
As for now, being millionaire is not my goal, however I'm keen to do what I want when I want with not extravagant monthly revenues.
I'm French living in France so I have to adapt with French laws.
I just read the chapter talking about chasing ideas VS money. I've always been like that. Now I need to gety head twirling to get the brilliant idea bringing value to a big community.

Looking forward to get going on the fastlane with the great falls of the community.

"Off the grid" -- like totally, meaning solar power and water wells? Home schooling kids is going to be the next billionaire bonanza...

Did someone say, a "brilliant idea"? Wrong! Do not fall for the "The Fallacy of the great idea" trap as Felix Dennis puts it. Just emulate what already exists and do what the competition does better, faster, cheaper, with a spin put on how it's normally done, etc. That is the most hazzle free and fastest sure fire fail proof way of finding a "good" idea. Waiting for a brilliant idea to come is a waste of time. Original ideas rarely succeed and are much harder to execute on due to the concern of product market fit as opposed to executing on an idea that already exists with proven market demand.

Thanks. Not that off grid. Wrong expression . Just that I'm not working for a company nor started one.
Yeah. Getting my kids not thinking like they are told to by gov education is pretty important to me.

I search this topic after the text you sent out. I'm interested in how students and parents experience are for these schools. In Florida there are a hand full of Public options and Pearson was the first private option I found on Google. Im going to continue looking in to this and see where the current pain points are and learn more on this. Thanks for shining light to this.

Hey ADR,

not sure to get your question. I reckon we were talking about home schooling which means no school.
I'd say that globally, it's hard for parents to start the Homeschooling journey. not only to provide education to kids but in the shift of mindset that needs to happen. it's a great parralell with the fastlane vs slowlane. a lot of parents are slowlane oriented and are having hard time to redefine priorities on their kids rather than their work.
my 2 cents

Hi Jezza38,

I appreciate that insight. I thought home school meant there was online schooling. Im interested in knowing how the kids learn. Are they learning from parents and/or tutors?

Yeah exactly. The approach used with the kids are up to the parents. Using online is an option
