Personally, I am extremely critical of the Metaverse.

The fact is that our unconsciousness doesn't see the difference between imagination/VR vs reality. This is used for example in psychotherapy (I am among many roles a psychotherapist). So Metaverse will have a huge impact on humanity, and we need to approach it responsibly and with great knowledge. Today we already have a world of confused people... Holding on to individual reality, keeping the integrity, and listening to intuition is challenging, yet crucial. And using the Metaverse more than ever. Confused people are easy to manipulate.

Way too many young men (not only) from my generation (I am 23) are escaping into video games, not taking care of the reality around them. Often because it is a very painful reality. Escapism doesn't make things better, and it only makes things worse - with time self-worth gets lower, and learned helplessness rises.

But there is no doubt we are at the start of huge changes. I am about to use it in the best ways possible. What are your thoughts on Metaverse, Fastlaners, and how are you are going to use this tool?

I plan on learning as much as I can to hopefully develop a new business around it. My current Ecommerce business is in fashion and I'd love to do something similar in the metaverse. I have no idea how to get started but am excited nonetheless.

Don't worry it won't be that bad.

You will be legally forced to eat bug protein and testosterone lowering medication to thwart off "socially undesirable traits" while you check into your metaverse job that begins each day with an "equity" pledge and when you complain to your digital sex robot girlfriend later that day you will be docked 200 social credit points and fined $200 for your remarks.

And you'll like it.

Fashion shows in Metaverse? The thing is to engage people emotionally and give options that in the real world reality are not possible, yet in the back of everyone's heads. There is this typical question "if you could have one superpower, what would it be?" (or some alternation of it) - the answers might be inspiring. Metaverse is a huge playground for the imagination.

The basic of fashion is "expressing individuality through appearance", right? I don't know personally, how it will be played out in the virtual Metav.
But for me, those virtual puppets are definitely boring and not attractive, so there is room for improvement

I am female, broski.
And to brighten your day - it is already happening. Protein from bugs - no, but red food dye globally used, is made out of bug - cochineal. Mhm, candy, energy drinks, colorful alcohol. Bon appetite. Also - check out what whey is - it is a very popular source of protein - personally, I find it disgusting. But hey, tough times call for tough measures haha

Testosterone levels are lowered not only by medication but also through manipulating human emotions, which directly impact hormones levels. And you think your emotions are not misused daily?

Also, what disturbs me - what are those "socially undesirable traits" you mention?
If you don't like a company, make them weaker by not purchasing their goods. Start feeding with your resources (attention, money, energy in other forms), things you want to support and see more. Here comes into play the responsibility we carry as a collective. Responsible usage of our energy in many forms is the true power we hold as human beings. Riots are pointless. How many years of them do we already have...? I never understood people who, instead of starving to death politicians who only did corrupted harm, enforced "democracy" year after year... "Democracy" is a construct created by narcissists and other disturbed individuals, who enjoy abuse and think are smarter, better, whatever. People who love to manipulate and are by nature great at it. I see most politicians as metaphorical father figures - "daddy to take by the hand". Daddy Issues at the purest. Yeah, we can pray for a "nice leader". But how did that work out for people in the past?

Or do you mean something else...?

Also why sex robot girlfriend? Do girls don't want to talk to you because of your sexism? :<

And the last one... You are already paying the price for having "the wrong mindset".

Now tell me... how do you like it?

I'm interacting with a lot of industries and it's clear as day to me this is going to grow faster than anyone expects.

And it's going to be insanely disruptive.

New jobs will be created and by the time people get a handle on them, they'll be outdated and destroyed.

Couple of examples that are happening right now are some manufacturing plants are testing out Oculus headsets so that someone in India can work in a factory in Mexico.

They are testing the delivery bots in New York with a guy in a headset driving it around town.

AI just isn't there yet so full-blown robots are not practical... but a person in a headset controlling it for $3/hour is.

Ready Player One is going to be a documentary

I do agree though that most people's mental well-being just isn't there. But for all my pessimism, I ultimately believe we'll figure it out. When it's a MUST instead of a SHOULD -- people move mountains. When they HAVE to do it, they'll figure it out.

(I understand you were referring to learned helplessness -- and, yes, that's a much bigger conversation)

In crypto space the closest to what we call the metaspace is gamefi. It is basically an economy of nft breeding and ownership which can earn a token, if it is played by a human player.

I forced myself to pick up computer games until recently for that.

If I am successful I will make an INSIDERS post.

If not I will lick my wound and wait for the next opportunity.

This whole Metaverse thing is sickening, disgusting and revolting. To see nerds like Zuck talk about it like it's a must is a huge turn off.

Why would I want to live in a VR world when I can live life in the real world?

This Metaverse thing is probably going to be like Second Life but with VR, and perhaps using crypto as the currency.

Based on real life experiences with people glued to their toy phones, 80% and more will gladly live in a fake world and make you rich if you allow them to push the pleasure button all day. Sad but true.

I don't know if you've played around in there with your headset on but it's wild.

I 100% see how this is going to be an all-consuming thing for everybody (including how we interact in business).
