Funny stuff in my beloved country:

1) Yet another lockdown, everything closing at 23:00
2) Government seized the properties of those, who might/probably/could host illegal gatherings (aka PARTY). If this does not sound dystopian, I don't know what does. I think there's a movie about the same theme, don't remember the name.
3) Public transport only works to/from VAX places.
4) As it was announced by government "VAX passports and mandatory VAX is not discussed yet", which you know exactly what does that mean.
5) Un-VAX-ed people can't enter into gyms, salons, sauna, etc.

I'm partly annoyed due to my business getting hit hard by this regulations, but mostly I'm just not really into living in Brave New World. Might re-read Victor Frankl to lower my comfort threshold.

That's a shame, Georgia had made a lot of pro-freedom business changes in the last few years. I was hoping they would be a bit more sensible about things.

I do understand politicians, as they are under pressure of next elections, therefore follow whatever western governments do, instead of acting in slightly riskier way.

So you can create a company in Estonia with no corporate tax, live on some nice Spanish small coastal village and the Government will get only a percentage of your income, which comes from the salary you choose for yourself.

But just to be clear, I am not a lawyer nor a financial advisor, in practice Governments will do whatever they can to screw you so find a professional.

I ended up watching the live stream of the protest later.

Hundreds of people marching for a long time.
Then they got to near flinders.
Cops were all lined up and horses were flanking.
When the regular protesters got close they removed the horses and it was commentated on by people filming the protest that they looked like they were preparing to open up and allow them through.
Then the bottles and flares started raining on the cops.

Then a bit of chanting and arguing till the people started pushing them and the front line got pepper sprayed.
They backed off a bit, threw some more bottles.
Some peacefully got on their knees in front of the cops but the bottles just kept coming over at the cops.
Cops eventually were getting hit for a long time before they started shooting rubber bullets through the crowd and everyone started running.

Such a great moment to be seized and the protesters royally F*cked it up by being the ones attacking first.

Wow!!!! Of all the countries in the world you would think that Germany would be the most acutely aware that giving people colored bands to identify them is a bad idea.

The media is insane. One second the vax is to protect you, and then it is to protect your neighbor, and then it turns out it doesn't stop the spread just lessens the effects. It can't be both. Either it's for you, or it stops the spread and is for others. Which is it?

I for one am getting pissed at seeing at these huge fat people waddle around with their masks on. Everyone is so afraid that the health care system will be overrun, well I have news for you, it is already overrun!! Preventable heart disease, and a whole host of other issues are already clogging our health system like crazy. There are over a year long wait times for many procedures, and much is due to just how ill this country is because no one wants to take responsibility for their lives.

36.3% of Canadians are overweight, 26.8% are obese. How many of them are going to suffer from health complications, or even do something like fall and break and sprain something that never should have broken or strained in the first place. I'd venture and say close to 100% of them at some point in their life. How is someone who takes care of their health needing an operation and having it pushed back literal years acceptable and yet all this vax BS is just 100% accepted? The public is a bunch of morons.

The new catch phrase is "cases". But that literally means nothing. Only legit hospitalizations and fatalities matter. If 100% of the country gets sick that still means nothing if severe reactions are nil.

One thing to keep in mind is how easy it is to have some undercover officers or agent provocateurs mixed in with the crowd to start hurling bottles or initiate the violence to allows the cops to break up the protest.

Add in the 1.8 million dollars in fines handed out and you hurt regular people even more and dissuade them from trying to protest again.

Good strategy on their part.

I'm now considered a conspiracy nut that gets put in the same category as a violent protestor JUST because I think we should be asking more questions. My mind is blown at how people are accepting this madness in Aus.

I was out driving this morning and I heard on the radio that both of my cities major sports venues, and concert/event venue, are going to require vaccination in order to enter starting on September 15th.

There you have it folks, vaccine passport coming to Canada. If these guys are doing it and can get away with it, guaranteed others will soon follow.

I think following this path, all medical information should be open and public to enter anything. I don't want anyone with cancer, hepatitis, AIDS, any STD, any skin conditions or anything else that I deem to be unacceptable from entering my place of business. Seems fair to me.
