In my introductory thread, I mentioned what the company was and its mission. I've started this one as a means of sharing the progress of this monolithic undertaking, my thought processes, my approaches in distribution of information and marketing, and the scope of my vision. Per a Fastlane member's suggestion, I will be launching a series of free online webcourses through my website (mychiefemployee.com) within the next couple of months. They will be prerequisites for the fee-based, degreed curricula I will be distributing through brick-n-mortar schools.
I would really REALLY appreciate input from Fastlane members about course content and teaching structure. I don't want your money, I don't want to sell to any of you, I don't want anything from you all that I can get simply by reading the threads myself. I just need some suggestions of things I may overlook and things I can improve upon. I'm trying to take various schools of financial thought and blend them together to present them in a way that speaks to the unique differences of all socioeconomic classes over time.
IF YOU WERE A STUDENT OF A FINANCIAL EDUCATION COMPANY, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE TAUGHT? HOW WOULD YOU WANT IT TAUGHT TO YOU? WHAT KINDS OF THINGS CONCERN THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU WHO DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE FASTLANE IS? WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO BE IN THE FASTLANE?
My posts are often ignored. Please do not ignore this one. I have come to you all because I trust your unique knowledges and experiences. MJ, on a macro level, I want to talk to future students about the need for sound money, increased savings rates and production, decreased consumerism, responsible standards of living, and the collective elimination of bad debt. On the micro level, I will be using Rich Dad and Robert Allen principles to help fundamentally change the way Americans generate income. You created this forum, can you brainstorm a bit with me?
