Hi everyone! My name is Sal, I'm 32 years old and from Long Island, NY. I have a wife who is a teacher with the NYC DOE, I have a 1 year old son, and a mortgage. I was a Digital Media Manager for one of the busiest wedding venues/catering halls in the country for over a year and half until I lost my job due to Covid. With all of this newfound time on my hands, I decided I wanted to make a change in my life and give my family the lifestyle we deserve. I visited an open house (just because) that was listed for $2.1 million. It gave me some SERIOUS motivation to buy that house for me and my family. As part of my daily goals, I look at pictures of the house and take a virtual tour of it for visualization exercises.

I began learning some new skills and starting reading books. I'm not a big reader at all and never enjoyed it.....until this year. The pandemic gave me time to not only care for my son while my wife works, but to learn new skills, read to better myself and gain a new perspective, and focus on my side business. I literally just finished reading The Millionaire Fastlane today which was my 13th book read since the pandemic started. As someone who read Rich Dad Poor Dad this year, I can say that The Millionaire Fastlane just replaced it as the finance bible in my eyes. Fantastic book and gained a new perspective on wealth. The book basically told me my side business is a slowlane business. I have to agree. It is legit me working for money. I build/design websites for cash (among other services). I believe I have to evolve my business to make sure they are aligned with the 5 wealth commandments. I do have to work on me training my mind to be able to see the opportunities that MJ describes in the book.

I just bought Unscripted and plan on beginning it tonight or tomorrow. One of my other daily goals is to read a book for at least 30 minutes a day.

Im excited to be in the fastlane forum and I want to wish everyone nothing but success. I look forward to connecting with some of you on here.
