How to get multiple google business listings without a verified address

Anything considered a "hustle" and not necessarily a CENTS-based Fastlane

Johnny boy, back at it again with the marketing hacks.

Last time I told you guys about ringless voicemails.

This time I've got something even better.

If you create a business on "google: my business", it requires a physical address. They send a postcard to the address and you type in the code to verify it. They won't accept PO boxes, shared work spaces, etc. You must have a house or physical business location there.

Bummer.

But not so fast. You see, I grew up practicing cheating on every test, quiz and homework assignment I could get away with. I didn't practice that much for nothing.

I wanted to get around this.

It would allow me to throw up a "business" (or hundreds of them) anywhere across the country, name it after some good keywords, get some good reviews posted and voila, I'm at the top of the search results. No BS seo backlinks and long tail keywords needed.

How this could benefit you.

You may have a business that can service customers remotely. You can do this to have locations in many places, getting you tons of free traffic.

Or, here is the business you can all do....

You can create many different "businesses" around the US and collect leads for free, then use call forwarding to send them to competing businesses in those area for a monthly price for getting the leads. You can do this all over the place.

So how do you do it?

Well, first we need a physical address.

Someone else's physical address....

And the person who lives there needs to tell us the code on a postcard.

So we need that person to agree to help us out.

How we do that?

We give them cash...

How do we find people to agree to tell us the code on a postcard once we send it to their house?

I literally made a facebook ad explaining what I was trying to do.

"We will pay you to send you a postcard and you tell us the code on it".

I initially wrote a high price. $50 a month. I REALLY wanted to see if it was possible at all. You wouldn't even really need to pay someone monthly. It could just be a one time thing. I bet you could get away with paying someone $30 just once and having this work.

I had the ad send them to a page on my website that literally took me 5 minutes to make and it had a contact form at the bottom.

I spent $5 on the ad and got two people to fill out the form. Easy.

Once you talk to them, they tell you the address, google sends out the postcard and you verify the location when they tell you the code, you then get to use their address as a business that shows up on google (don't worry you can hide the location from the general public so nobody shows up at their door).

If you young fellas are sitting on your a$$ wondering what business will let you make money online without trying to do dropshipping bullshit or trying to sell ebooks on your blog with 4 readers, there's a great business right here for you. Make fake businesses to collect leads and forward them to the local competition for a fee. Rinse and repeat until you're satisfied.

I had this idea like 4 days ago. The ads worked for me. I'll help anyone here set it up just ask away I'll answer questions.

Note: haven't made a dime yet from this. But my consulting and web design company will definitely be opening an "office" or two around the US ;)

Not much really. I just made it so I come up on the map in a few areas for a few business that I had/have. It was actually harder than I thought it would be to pay someone to have the postcard sent to them. I think I offered like $25.... it was too long ago to remember.

But, in doing a little research for this what I found was that in one of my businesses, a competitor had somehow tricked the system (back then). What I mean is..... let's say that I own Kitty's Dildo Store in Ft Worth. Evelyn's Dildo's (actual location in Houston) was somehow using the location of Bob's Dildo's (in Ft Worth) and Virginia's Dildo's (in Plano) and Katie's Dildo's (in Dallas). Those 3 are actual brick & mortar locations around town but when you googled dildo's near me..... one of those would show up but it had information about Evelyn's Dildo's and her website and I think the goal of Evelyn's Dildo's was to get people to click on HER website. I'm guessing Evelyn's did that on MANY of the competitor's actual location. Did that make sense?

I build GMB's for clients...it helps to have a physical address but we have workarounds for that. Only issue is that it's expensive to do and maintain for them...oh, and once in a blue moon big G will call the business number to make sure it's a real listing (pro tip: get yourself some business numbers from twilio).

It will. The number will be a directory line that splits based on the service they are looking for and redirects to a phone number for whichever business is paying me $200 a month for leads. "press 5 for interior remodeling".

not a lot of sense, but I am disappointed you did not turn this hack into the next home adviser. Im going to scale the living shit out of this. I've got nothing but time this winter to really go hard on my remote businesses and this is one I'm REALLY excited about.

If you went to Google and searched for Katies Dildo's in Dallas..... it gave you Katies address but all the info about the store was NOT Katies, it was about Evelyn's. So instead of having a random street address, Evelyn's had an actual commercial address. Then when you clicked on the website..... it went to Evelyn's.

I don't know if Evelyn's some how talked these businesses in to giving them the info on the postcard and tricked them or what. Remember, maps was very new to businesses back then so it would have been easy to get one over on them.

A lady that I sometimes partner with talked about doing it and even pursued it for about 20 minutes. I wasn't interested in doing any of the leg work myself and I've not found anyone since that was worth mentioning it to. She had her plate full and still does so it has just been sitting there waiting. Keep us updated on it :)

Johnny, so one 1 thing that I did was hook up with this roofing company. I had known of him for years and years. So we hooked up and in a city well under 500,000, we were getting about 4-7 leads calls a week (4 'locations'). I charged him $100 per lead. In the roofing business, they often pay x amount per lead (usually $100-$250+). I only had 1 roofing company that I was working with. This all just ended because he started acting weird and the jobs were getting a lot of complaints. Now the complaints had nothing to do with me, I just got the leads but he was waiting to pay me and he has a boat load of money so it wasn't that he was waiting on money.... If I had to guess, I think he has started to use drugs. So I got out. Also, roofers are getting burned so much by people giving them crap leads, it's getting hard to get that much for a lead. Now for a metroplex where I live, a guy could have 20 different 'locations' so it comes up in lots of different cities around and team up with multiple roofers. I know you want to do it all but I think you would need to start small and grow.....? Or else how will you find so many different businesses in order to offer so many different services at first..... see what I mean? Start with roofing, quickly add drain cleaning and then plumbing and then tree trimming, stump removal, etc.... and then by the time 6 months rolls around, you have it going strong while in control. That's just how I see it anyway. What do you think?

By the way, roofing leads are great. I've been involved with 4 roofers and all made great money. Wait.... 5 roofers and 1 was a scam from the start so I don't count him.

How'd you go with this? A year back I did the same thing with phone verified GMB listings where you keep putting in twilio numbers until it triggered a phone verification, then you purchase the number and forward the number to get the code.

I was able to get hundreds of them and then just sold them the calls to businesses. Within a few months, Google patched this up because so many marketers abused this method - so it's only postcard method now.

Of like the hundred that I had, only 1 survived and the rest got the slap... =/
