Free registration at the forum removes this block. It's hard to tell exactly what you're doing. You found a product, put up some facebook ads, and wait? Do you have a website? Are you dropshipping? Where are you getting the product?
You can't really just throw up facebook ads and become an overnight millionaire. It's going to take a lot more work than that, starting with the value you're offering the customer. Maybe you do that in the form of lowest price, or maybe you make improvements to an existing product, etc. You're not providing a lot of details in this thread for anyone to offer advice on.
I don't need to know what your product is, but could you fill us in a bit more with what it is that you're trying to do?
I just want to jump in for a second. I've been following your thread to see if you actually make a sale.right now im testing the waters, i found an item that sparked a bit of interest and decided to buy it at a discount off the shelf. after i put up an ad on kijji (free) Craigslist (free) and facebook (paid ads for $7 over a week) aswell as posting in the facebook marketplace.
wanted to see if i could actually make a sale online, and purchase more inventory then rinse & repeat.
about product, ill say that is a solar energy backpack, me and my friend were at the beach and i thought about how the majority of people on the beach are complete zombies and staring at theyre phone. constantly see this around EVERYWHERE, on the street, in a restaurant..you name it EVERYONE is on theyre phone. saw a market i could potentially join.
dont have a website or dropship. as i have my own product a website will definitely be required & youtube.
for the near future i have the idea of building a brand in the pet industry (toys, beds + general pet stuff) its certainly a very big industry & as MJ says we only need to capture a small % of the market share. have an idea for this market id like to give a go.
second thing im not sure if its delusional but theres a small market share in vancouver i potentially see. do have the ability to test the market as ive recently learned from lori greniers book in starting a kick starter or just polling people on forums/street etc. *recommended read*
sorry about the confusion! thanks for the reply!
So if people wanted this bag, why wouldn't they have just bought it at the $30 sale price you did, instead of paying you twice as much for it?yes original price of the product was $80, i got it on sale for $30 and listed it for $60. ive been comparing other bags that do not even have a solar charging panel and u can pay anywhere from $25-$60+ on average. ''high end'' bags go for $150+. so in my thoughts $60 for a bag that charges your phone seems ok.
what are your thoughts?
