That hit me. Rep for you.
Yep me too (and thanks!!), he was speaking the cold hard truth (as always), but he really destroyed every negative thought and mental masturbation holding that women back from putting in the work. She is now documenting her hustle for 30 days on IG lol

Great video. It was cool that he took time to actually talk to her and not be over the top/energetic Gary Vee and cut her off in 2 minutes. I saw this pop up on my subscription list today, but glazed over it because I was busy. Glad I took the time to listen to it!

I had just watched this and then noticed it here on the forum. I think it's amazing to go back and listen to the first few minutes then skip to the last few. The woman was so enthusiastic in the beginning and you can feel the energy and excitement in her voice but it slowly drained away as Gary explained that it's not all sunshine and daisies. For a long time I was in a similar position. Jumping from idea to idea just to keep up that initial excitement and buzz when you start something new but as life begins to get more difficult and content creators like Gary and people on this forum call people out on wantrapreneurism it's really helped me stay on track with what I am doing. I notice the distractions of new ideas entering my mind but I vet them a lot harder and don't get stuck anymore multitasking and ultimately falling through the cracks of doing too many things at once.

This f**king guy never ceases to amaze me.

Delivers more quality value than 99% of other "personal brands" for FREE and does it as a side hustle.

I don't understand how he doesn't burn out?

I've heard him say that his biggest motivating drive is gratitude.

He also mentioned he believes there are inherent levels of talent in entrepreneurship and he was lucky to be born as a grade A purebred entrepreneur (i.e. Will never cash out and retire, will build for life).

I'm 26, eat clean and work out, and I'm unable to consistently work more than 60 hours a week without burning out. Not sure if it's a mindset thing, or just a matter of lacking that "talent".

Anyways didn't mean to derail, great video!

It's a great video, it called my attention.

But when she said she needed to hit rock bottom to have a wake up, he told her that what she was basically just getting an excuse to waste more time and don't put in the work.

So for us, was this video an actual wake up video? Or was it just another great, motivational video that consumed us another 17 min of our time, where we could be putting in the work instead of watching this?

Yea i know.

I heard a quote from Alan Watts and it went like "If you think you need a guru, you probably need one".
And Gary went forth in a beautiful way to untie a knot.

So back to us, it is a wake up video for some, for me it was more of a stay awake call lol. btw also watch videos double the speed

To go even further, isn't us talking together "a waste of time"? Hell isn't even Gary talking to that girl "a waste of time"?

But then we need to go back to what we actually are - we are humans and like to share, talk and support each other - we aren't machines.

I totally agree with that quote if you think you will fail you would definitely fail, you need to set your mind to success in order to succeed,it won't always go in the way you desired but if you take the best out of it and adapt, eventually you'll get there.

It was not a waste of time if she takes something from it, from what you said earlier she's posting the journey on her IG, well i don't know if it is just for showcase or not, but it looks like she actually is doing something to improve.

Same for us, if we do get some value from talking to each others, it's not wasted time because you provided value and got value in return.

But some of us, probably did take some value out of the video, but did we put the advice he gave on action? or did we just moved to another video and kept this cycle of mental masturbation? that's the problem..

I liked your idea of double speed on the videos though!
I got some value right here! :clench:

Word! This guy does not sugarcoat it. And he should not be doing it either, being an entrepreneur is a tough but rewarding journey.
I think there should be more focus on the execution and process of building something from start to finish when it comes to entrepreneurship. Hard work is the reality.
