If not we can still do Dallas as I already said that.

I do want to move the time up to 12 though. Its a long drive and I want to come home the same day to work on things.

Its a 5-6 hour drive for me one way.

Dallas is fine.

I'll have to set a earlier time for the meetup. Around 9 am or 10 am. I don't want to be away from my business for a full day.

Sounds like some of you have to travel 2+ hours to get here. In my opinion, it's not worth it if you have to drive that far. What do you expect to get out of the meetup?

If it was a casual meetup for happy hour I might drive over. For example, Blue Fish @ Las Colinas (Irving) 5 to 7pm happy hour this Thursday.

Sorry hot weather seems to bother you. Thanks to serving the military I'm not so easily made uncomfortable. I enjoy the heat. Sweden sounds nice though.

I'm happy for your business success. It seems like it took you a little longer than I'd be comfortable with though.

@amp0193 was only trying to emphasize the value of meetups through anecdotal evidence. Lashing out at someone who was trying to help is a completely unwarranted response.

To me it comes across far more offensive than how you must see it.

For one. If he is trying to emphasize the importance of networking and meetups why would he say its not worth anyones time...especially considering the reason he is "chilling on the beach" is because of @Runum who he met at a meet up...and who was planning on going to this meet up.

If @Runum knowledge is so powerful would not everyone benefit from going to that meetup?

If someone had knowledge that made me millions I would tell every living soul to drive there.

I maybe rude at times. Or let my emotions get the better of me. But I've never acted negatively towards anyone for unjustified reasons.
