Need some advice, hope this is the right place to post this.

So I found a product that can provide value for a certain demographic and could possibly sell well in my country. Now I realize I must test it first, but to test it I must get this straight.

This prodcut already exists and is quite special, meaning I haven't found anything similar with an other brand name. However, I can't seem to find the manufacturer/patent owner/brand owner whatever, so basically the guy or organization who will sue my a$$ if I re-sell their product. I want to make a deal with them, try to make this work in a legit way so I can provide real value and not just some retail arbitrage crap.

Also it wouldn't really be fastlane if I had to order, keep an inventory of and ship the product so I'd want to dropship it. For that I need to find the manufacturer or at least a wholeseller of this product. How do I go about that without encountering legal trouble?

Where can I find out if this product is patented and/or who I should talk to regarding re-selling?

Edit: Nvm, after half day of searching I've found the actual distributor.
