Every fastlane forum registration is manually reviewed and approved. I delete about half of them, many of which seem to be legit entrepreneurs.
Thing is, they aren't legit. These registrations aren't the actual entrepreneurs/marketers/gurus themselves, but someone they hired and outsourced in India to self-promote their shit. In other words, they're backlink spammers.
The funny thing is, some of the registrations seem to be coming from reputable entrepreneurs, marketers, and gurus -- some of whose names I recognize!
And yet, their registration IP is not from where they claim to be (some state in the USA) but from India or Pakistan.
I can't imagine hiring some stranger in Pakistan to pose as ME on forum just so I can get some backlink juice on a bunch of forums. But it is happening every single day, right here, albeit, unsuccessfully.
Of course, their problem is, their registrations never make it through. And instead, it gives me the privilege to laugh as I delete them and send their registration into the abyss.
