I'm plan to write book for making profit from opening art gallery/exhibition. I have no experience in art or gallery/exhibit before. I love to read non fiction books which can actually help me to have different view points and ideas on different subject. I have experience in project management for engineering, contract management and schedule management. Basically, I'm interested to start up simple art exhibition to cultivate art culture in my country, Malaysia. The major problems face by artists in my region is financial restriction and lack of support from society.
Since my first language in mandarin, I may have difficulties writing in flourish English. What I planned to do build mind map for brain storming, project execution plan, cost-balance ratio, check sheets for art exhibition/gallery, manpower management, exhibition layout and etc into the books. So, the book most likely will have plenty of diagrams, charts, calculation sheets, drawings, planning and etc.
I will do validation on my book content by actually set up art exhibition or may be gallery to experience it and profitable it. Although it may not be best method to validate art exhibition business because of variety issues and problems face for different categories, I think the book can serve as guideline to start art exhibition for the most people.
My major is whether US, UK or Europe countries reader like non-fiction books with plenty of diagrams or chart? My intention to make this book publish as ebook such as amazon or clickbank. If the sales going good, I will choose to publish to hardcopy.
