I have been working on out of the box ways to market Famous1s clothing store. I have done all the regular avenues of marketing. But i have been trying to work outside the box and have started Famous1s Tv this is the first run thru the show is hosted in the store the first episode is interviewing a successful music producer and is kind of like a commercial at the same time. It has more of an urban feel due to the store being an urban clothing store. We already have a barbershop owner and a very successful club promoter. What out of the box advertising has worked for you? and also im always looking to improve if you have any input on the video on what could be done better. I did the filming editing and all myself so i am always ready for some constructive criticism my friends and coworkers mostly tell me what i want to hear and advice or tips would be appreciated.😕

Famous1s Tv - YouTube

was it that bad...?

You know what I noticed...

people wearing the item (like lace wigs) help customers buy the item.

that's not that out of the box to talk about your wig.
.
I like your show, but I don't think most people will watch that though, unless you had underground models/artists, people you youtube/google up even though 80% people don't know who they are.

----
I'll talk about your clothing if they were free of charge or dirt cheap lmao.

thanks, so what i learned from your comment is talk more about the product, just because i know the prices does not mean i should assume the viewers do. Thanks we just shot a new one today and this one should be better ive learned alot reading other posts

Opening a business is way more than i thought i planned this commercial to come out 2 months ago, but i am very proud of myself i stayed persistent. I have never used a video editing program until 12 days ago 500 youtube tutorials, cases of redbull and PERSISTENTENCE. I feel great about what i created and i think it represents my company perfectly because i made it! But i still want to get better and better with every video if you have any suggestions or what you learned please i am always willing to learn.

"With persistence you will win" Napolean hill

I still don't understand what the hell you do? Do you sell t-shirts? Are you a watch store?
I saw people getting haircuts? ... and a DJ? Are you a dance club? I am reeeeaaally friggin'
confused...

Love to help ya out here but I need a little more information. Who's your daddy, and what
does he do? Errr... I mean who are you and what do you do?

Yep, I agree with Steve. It actually looks like you're promoting 2 different businesses in that one video? If that's the case I would separate it into two. Maybe use a professional voice over. You can find good vo's on fiverr.

Btw, good job on your first time editing. Way to take action and move forward.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

It's actually 2 businesses my store is a men's clothing store we sell everything from shoes to watches. Wow reading your comments I just noticed that not everyone knows we are located across the street from each other. Wow I was so focused on making the video I did not stop to think about the viewers who are not in San Diego or have not been to the store. Thanks for the input

I left my comment last night via my phone so I couldn't give you some speed. So here you go, speed++ for taking action and moving forward.

Every good advertising should explain (1)who you are, (2)what you do, (3)what's the benefit to them, and (4)an offer.

Looks like you're trying to have a "hood" image, so you can be creative with these but you still need to move people to action i.e. shop at the store or go online to buy. No matter how cool you think you look, sales are the one and only job you have. No deal? No... what's the word for it these days? ... Cheddar... right, no Cheddar.

On a side note, you should look into Daymond John's Display of Power books. He talks a LOT about how to built his fashion brands like Fubu and Coogi (and countless others). If you're too lazy to read it, I'll come back and give you a synopsis but right now? I'ma go get me some motha-fudging chocolate chip PANCAKES.. retirement is awesome!

thanks guys i will look into the book i have used there is a customer born every minute and as we speak i am being audacious with my advertising i have a speaker outside blasting music along with a nice storefront display next to it. Kung fu Steve yes cheddar is one way to say it but cheese works also lol. Thanks for all the input so far i see the video now and i learn something everytime i watch it
