I'm thinking about all these business ideas, and how to make a ton of wealth, but the one thing that sticks out to me the most, is the OPTIONS.

Options to drive a certain car, not being limited to what you can "afford".

Options to choose what you want to eat today, or eating ramen, and knowing that you can choose to eat lobsters, not because that is all you can afford.

Options to live in a certain area of town. Beachfront property, or somewhere high up in the mountains, or total privacy in a huge plot of land. Maybe just living close in town in a condo, but only because you CHOSE to, not because you HAVE to.

I've always thought rich/wealthy people only drove expensive cars, lived in expensive places, and played with a lot of things money can buy. It's not about that, it's about having the freedom, and choice to choose what you want to do.

Even if I become a millionaire I'll still be eating at McDonalds. Not because I have to, because I have the choice to. :coolgleamA:

Well said, I love having the freedom to buy any car i'd like, or take a month long vacation on Laguna Beach, or travel. But, for the most part, having a little extra money hasn't changed me.

For example, I still hit the Savers store to buy second-hand clothes. I can spend 30 minutes there and leave with 3 pairs of jeans and 5 workout t-shirts for $20.00. When I was struggling to build a business, most of my clothes came from there. Fast forward a decade later, and I still go there because it just seems smart. Can I go to Nordstrom? Sure and occasionally do.
