buying cheap houses from ebay?

There is great possibilities in buying cheap properties in the US. Even though I live in Norway I know that the cheap houses almost always are in rough areas where most of us probably wouldnt wanna live. But even in rough areas people need roof over their heads, and I believe they to must sometimes pay rent (section 8?).
Anyway, there are a lot of houses like the one in the link below on ebay. Has anyone actually bought something like this, or is it a big NoNo?
