I am a US citizen but I grew up in El Salvador (Central America) and it gave me a different perspective on life. I currently live in California but my plans are to own land in El Salvador (cheaper). El Salvador has improved significantly throughout the years and I see a lot of potential when it comes to tourism/airbnb. My plan for 2026 is to buy a condo beach front near El Salvador airport and rent it out through airbnb/promote it on TikTok/Social media
El Salvador’s currency is US dollars, only 4 hours away from Cali, English/Spanish speakers, and I have a lot of family there.
However, I recently went to the state of Utah, US and I saw a lot of potential too. Houses are more affordable than California.
