Newcomer to the Fastlane Forum

Hey guys, I'm a 22 year old guy from South East England and I am focused on owning my own business. I had decided on the matter at the age of about 14, but I didn't have much of a structure towards achieving this goal.

I first read MJ DeMarco's book around this time last year after graduation, and I immediately implemented it... and failed. I tried again half-heartedly and that one failed too. Counting a small sweets business I ran at the age of 15, that is three businesses. Funnily enough, that sweets business was the most successful. So one success, two failures.

Now I feel like I am a bit more seasoned, and I am going through the stages mentioned by MJ DeMarco in his video "From Flat Broke to Filthy Rich" (See:

). Those being: Foundation Job, Specialised Labour, Specialised Skill, Specialised Unit. I am currently at the Foundation Job stage, and without going into too much detail, it should be completed hopefully soon, then I can focus on the next stages. One at a time.

I understand that this is a business forum, so most of the participants will ask questions about their businesses (the Specialised Skill/Unit stage). However, I recognise that I am a few steps behind that, but I am sure that I can get good advice from those ahead of me. Especially those close to my location, South East England.
