The above got me thinking about my dad's plants. He has a ton of plants at home. When my parents go on vacation, they usually ask a family member to come water the plants. But what do people do when they don't have someone to water their plants?

This company does private and commercial plant care, watering, maintenance, etc. I like the idea. Searched for it locally. Google showed me this business that is two states away.

There's a couple apps for connecting people with plant sitters, but I didn't find anyone locally on those either.

I wonder how many businesses, government offices, and private homes could use a service like this. I bet there's a lot.

Yes, opportunity knocking.

My parents garden takes over an hour to water (so many pots!) and I leave the built in trickle drip water system on a timer when I leave.

There's at least 1 other similar garden locally, it's open to the public today as part of the NGS charity fundraising scheme.

It looks like our garden will be like this some day, at the moment it's a 10 minute job.

Interesting, but I'm going to keep focused on my business and not chase this new shiny object...

But if you do please post about how it goes.
