As we approach winter, it's easy to give yourself to the enemy, it's a time of lackluster sales, stress, and cold for many of us.. But I want to share something I took away from a Men's night I recently attended... (Which was awesome)
God gives you what you NEED
The Enemy gives you what you WANT
Ever notice how painful a breakup can be, only to realize what a blessing it was to move on a few years later? Have you ever had a business fail, but you learned from it and your next business idea was even better?
I put this in #mindset for a reason, you have to realize that God plays the long game, and you don't know the plan he has for you. In the moment it can suck bad, but trust.. Have faith.. You will see that it happened for a reason later on, and was actually for the better. It's always for the better.
You might be asking for something you want.. Like to stay comfortable in that bad relationship or weak business BECAUSE you're scared, stressed, angry, or depressed... Ie. You are in a state of weakness and fear. The enemy thrives on this! And will happily make it so!
God wants you to be strong, and as you are a reflection of god (Made in his image) He knows what you need even if you don't. As with building muscle, you have to tear and abuse them to build strength.. As with making a beautiful sculpture, you have to chisel and smash away the rough marble.. This is what god knows you need, and will give you.
Keep this in mind this season, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.. You just haven't seen it yet but you must trust that you will come around the bend, and keep walking.. I'm 100% confident you will look back and see that the pain of the dark tunnel was necessary to bring you to where you are now... In the light... -Cheers
