I don't think the steroid look is what men in their 60S look for. Focus more on the health and mobility side, maybe throw in some stat that says that muscle mass is one of the most important factors for good and healthy aging.

I agreed with @freek & @biophase

Most people hitting there 50's & 60's are starting to complain about their decreased functional mobility. If they are competitive, they want to be able to play a sport like pickleball. Most of the guys who are recently retired want to be able to be just as functional as they were during there working years.

I rarely come across a 60 year old male who tells me they are trying to get shredded, unless they are already shredded.

I could have a population bias as I only treat injured people. However, all sorts of people get injured.

If they were unwilling to get shredded over the last 60 years, why are they starting now?

I would focus on proper lifting technique to reduce risk of injury and increase functional ability. Mobility including range of motion. Promote the importance of flexibility to reduce injury.

As a PT the MOST important thing people should be doing is injury prevention. They would save themselves a lot of time, money, and agony if they just did injury prevention... which is not covered by insurance in the USA. Injury prevention might include functional strengthening like IR/ER at shoulders and improve scapulohumeral rhythm with periscapular strengthening to reduce common shoulder injuries like impingement and rotator cuff injuries. Focusing on Transverse abdominal strengthening as opposed to rectus abdominus(6-pack muscles) strengthening to improve core stability and to avoid repeated spinal flexion injuries and to reduce poor posture. Ensuring proper squat mechanics to reduce back injuries or to reduce pain at their knees.

These are just some examples on what I personally think the 60 year old population truely needs to focus on. Weight loss is important if they are overweight. Getting shredded is not.

Late sixties here. I have a large group of guys that I went to school with and keep up with regularly. Some of them go on multi-day backpacking trips with me. They are the exception. This end of the spectrum would like to be active/in good shape, and not have a gut, but don't care at all about looking buff. At the other end of the spectrum are the guys literally struggling to get from the couch to the bathroom. The much larger middle group wants to be moderately active (golf, yard work), not be in pain, and not fall down.

Everyone wants to healthier but most aren't willing to sacrifice much, especially when it comes to diet - both food type AND portion control (then again, that describes America as a whole - overweight, no will power, and entitled enough to demand a pill to "fix it" instead of taking responsibility). The bogeyman to entice these people to make better lifestyle choices these days is A1C. There's a pill for that, too, but it ain't cheap. There are also a ton of free wellness programs to coax my obese peers along, so you're competing with that.

I'm not sure what would motivate elderly women - fewer visits to the doctor, I guess. I mean, sure they'd like to "look better", but they don't want sex so unless they need a twilight meal ticket that's not the motivator it might've once been. But I can tell you what men want. As one of my friends said on our last (his first, actually) wilderness trip: "DAMN! It's good to be out here with my friends, pissing on the ground and blowing my nose with my finger and BEING MEN!" So I would appeal to them like a beer commercial, with several guys doing guy stuff like standing up a stud wall for a shop, hiking, pickleball (as in, finally beat that lady on the pickleball court who's been kicking your a$$).

I agree. It is hardly feasable at 60+ without either doping or an extrema lifestyle and there is rather compelling evidence, that it may not be healthy at an older age - in terms of life expectancy - to be too lean. The health aspect will be more important and remember, we are statistically likely to be healthy until the age of 61. After that a substantial percentage / more than half of the population have ailments.

I think that that should go in the ad copy instead of the actual ad. What do you think about that idea?

Ummm, you still have fat demolishing in all 3 ads and the images were the same. You didn't change anything. Let us know how these ads do on facebook. My prediction is that they will be a big failure.
You might have clicked the old link. I definitly changed it

No it’s new. It says mobility rebuild and fat demolish. Those words make no sense to me.

In the 60s? Probably building stronger muscles in lower bodies to prevent falls.

Can you find a cool template on canva? Or pay someone on fivver to do this, because honestly it looks bad and very low effort. You can probably pay someone 10 bucks on fivver and your results will be infinitely better.

By the way, do you know a guy in his 60s that is looking to lose weight, become more mobile or be healthier in 6 months? I’m taking on 5 case studies for free, because that’s all I can handle. I just want to get some testimonials for my course. I help them lose weight and get healthier without restrictive diets and other hard things. It works. I’d just like more testimonials to show it works across different scenarios. Does anyone you like come to mind?

I'm not going to comment on the copy as you've got some great suggestions for that already.

But in terms of design, its difficult to read any of the text as a 34 year old, I imagine someone who's older will have more difficulty reading it.

Some quick suggestions; add some opacity to the background and make sure the text is contrasting and can be read without squinting.

And if you're running this on Facebook Ads, go through their policies in more detail. I'm quite certain that before and after cartoon will get your account banned.

Not sure in the audience you are looking for. Maybe you have some older relatives in the family that can take your course and provide testimonials? You may have some luck offering the course for free on some social media sites to your target demographic, but you'd have to be familiar to the audience in that space.

Be honest people, that will help him more. Those designs are horrible, like -9/10. Canva has thousands of incredible templates, why did you decide to not use any of them and create this rubbish?

Delete them (permanently) and utilize Facebook Ads Library and Foreplay to see what other relevant brands are running. You obviously can't do it yourself, so copy what works. Millions are spent in running similar offers on Meta each year, just replicate it.

Don't quit, this is not meant to say you won't make it, just put actual effort into it.

P.S. I just saved you 100% of whatever your intended ad spend was, no thanks needed.

EDIT: What I would suggest if you were my client (theoretically, please don't) - get 5 men on board your coaching for a month to build case studies. Free or cheap, doesn't matter. Get 5 men and get them results with an agreement that you can share those results with other potential clients. Then leverage that and have a no-brainer offer like - drop X pounds in Y timeframe or pay nothing, or if you can't confidently say: "I feel so much better, have so much more energy, etc." - money back. Do that until you're getting results and don't need to give refunds.

SOURCE: I worked with about 30 fitness coaches last year.

That's a better selling point. A lot of older folk are cautious to prevent new aches and pains.
Weak muscles and bones, fall leading to fractures, even less walking and more muscle degeneration..it is a vicious cycle.

A lot elderly actually pass away a few years after a bad fall.

What is ONE THING you can do to improve it?

Perhaps after reading what everyone said, perhaps list it all out on a "to-do list" format. Then, select the ONE THING.

What’s disappointing is that he got all this feedback and then just added the words Mobility Rebuild to his ad. It just feels so half assed.

This is the kind of stuff my Google ppc company used to do in display ads.
