I just joined yesterday, but I've been lurking for at least a few months. I've noticed there's people of all ages, from 16 on up to retirement age on here. One thing I've picked out is that everyone seems to be helpful as can be and just wants you to succeed, which is awesome on a message board. There's no underlying drama, there's no griping and moaning. It's just people sharing advice trying to help you succeed in life. Every other board I'm apart of, you just get sick of after awhile because it seems like little kids bickering in 5th grade. So it's extremely nice to see the opposite out here - especially on a subject that's constructive. So bravo!

Welcome Nathan, yes the flame wars are minimal here. This is probably because many of our users are OUT actually doing and accomplishing things.

It seems the best we can muster in terms of drama is an occasional, respectful disagreement which rarely degenerates into wars.

Yeah, most everyone around these parts is pretty cool. I love traveling around and meeting different people from this forum. As a matter of fact, Bilgefisher and I met up the other night in Colorado and had a beer. It's so nice to hang out (on and offline) with like-minded people.

I agree Nathan. This is one extraordinary group of people. I think we are still planning a get together next March or April. You need to make plans to join us. That experience is several times more powerful and enlightening than reading the words on this forum. :fastlane:
