I see people in this forum, and the "entrepreneurship" and "hustle" community in general, asking and talking about how to keep motivation, and stay motivated to accomplish their goals. If you struggle with "motivation" then either entrepreneurship isn't for you, or you don't have a strong enough motive. You don't need "motivation" when you have a strong motive, because the motive is an infinite source of motivation and discipline. It keeps you up late at night working, and wakes you up early in the morning to get working again, it also seems to give you energy whenever you need it.
Heading into 2023, those of you struggling to find motivation really need to evaluate yourselves, and determine if entrepreneurship is really for you, or did you just get caught up in the pop culture of entrepreneurship being cool now, and it seems like everyone and their dog is an "entrepreneur"
Or have you just not found a strong enough motive yet, and you still need to clarify what your purpose is in this life, and what you need to do to get there, and what you need to accomplish. ( I recommend renting an Airbnb in the wilderness, and getting clear with yourself what you need to do.)
If you're just chasing money, you'll fail, its not a strong enough motive. Everyone these days it talking about business and money. Yet entrepreneurship is at a 40 year low in the U.S. makes you realize there's a lot more talk about becoming rich, then there is action.
This also goes with focus, if you cant stay focused, and get distracted easily, and do the things that don't matter to your goals. Then you also don't have a strong motive, and need to figure it out.
