I’m at a crossroad.
If you’re a small business owner, just getting traction and have few clients, looking for a website for your business and someone offers you a completed and functional website for a considerably high price, would you pay for it?
Would you buy it if it allows you to focus more on YOUR clients?
Even with AI, building an app requires time to:
- create it
- test it
- if bugs/issues, fix them
- launch
- test in production. . .
Would you buy it if it saves you all this time invested?
Is it even worth the price?
Need help!
----EDITED VERSION----
(after going through some comments, I owe an apology for not being clear enough. Hope this new version is better)
I'm starting a business.
I currently don't have passive income from this business.
I have worked with a few individual clients, and have received commissions for it.
By commissions, I'm not referring to millions or even thousands.
. . . . .
Now, I want to expand my business with an online presence; website.
But I want to focus on the marketing side; acquiring clients.
But because I also need an online presence, I'm faced with two options.
1. stop marketing temporarily and build the site, or
(I don't know how much it would take me to build it)
2. keep focusing on the marketing, and acquire the website being offered
The website is not way too complex, but does have important features (e.g. Stripe integration).
What had me into crossroads is that it's already built and functionable, just needs a few tweaks (e.g. changing the logo and some copy) and it's ready.
My question is, in your opinion,
Is it worth buying a website that you don't have to spend time building, testing, and launching it (so you keep marketing)?
Or is it better if I just build it myself?
But that means I'll stop marketing temporarily.
