Hello everyone,
Is this business profitable? I think yes but would love to hear your point of view.
Please help with ideas to improve.
I have been testing the waters, buying from the UK and selling in a third world country.
I tried more than twice and this is what was happening:
I buy 20 units for a total of 100£
DHL fees, 3 to 5kgs= 70£
customs: 40£.
I sell 1 unit for 25£ totalling 500£, in a space of one month.
I have notice that if I had more than 100 units, giving me more varieties on what I'm selling (or planning to be selling) I would sell the 20 units in a week time and as time comes to open a shop I'd have 1000 units for sell and with advertisements more people in the city would know about the shop.
How would I calculate profits in this case,
I just know that I buy products at 210£ and sell them for 500£.
Please help with ideas and advise.

PS: I've just discovered that the product I buy 20 units in the UK for 100£ would cost 300£ for 300 units in China. I think when i get good connection there, that's what I'll do. my worry with China is to buy fakes of someone to disappear with my small capital. Hopefully I will get someone in this forum to help with serious contacts.
