The word implies you're value seeking instead of value giving.
Every relationship in your life is a trade of value. As soon as
your value surpasses their value, the transaction goes smoothly.
You must figure out how you can surpass the value you're
competition is offering also, do they offer free shipping? how
about you offer free shipping and free shipping on returns?
Do they have 10,000 items in selection? How about you offer
1,000 best selling hand picked items?
If you were to start trading the word "getting" for the word "attract"
you would solve a lot of your "getting" problems. Not just in business
but also in life. Think what would you need to do to "attract" the thing
you're missing. The word "get" implies a quick solution because you're
looking for a way to "receive" what you're missing instead of "causing" it
would you rather receive a check for a million dollars or attract one?
which one implies more work?
If you have a "getting" mentality it's probably
because you're seeking short-term opportunities (like traffic)
instead of implementing long-term strategies (like branding) that
"attract" what you want.
Business is a mental sport...a good coach always
has a strategy
P.S. I'm not talking about the law of attraction,
I'm talking about taking action and creating something
of value that cause people to willfully give you what
you want
