You need to change something in your strategy. If only influencers got that to work then there is a reason for it.
The only times i bought an ebook was because an influencer that is clearly an expert at that topic offered it.
I didn't care about the price. I wanted my problem solved by someone i trust and i know is an expert.
Let me say it again. I would never buy something from an untrusted random ad. Would you?
If you keep doing what you do now then you will be stuck there forever.
So to make it more clear to you: you are working on the wrong thing.
You need to build trust. In other words your brand to sell your ebooks.
While you build trust, you build distribution, through distribution you get sales.
If you don´t want to do that then you need to switch away from your e-book business.
I’ve been online for 8 years now. Mostly small freelance gigs — graphic design and random services — but never more than a few hundred euros per month. Nothing that could grow into a real business.
But I really don't want to. I want to make my systems work. Like my digital product. I want to use the leverage there is in selling over and over the same product, instead of selling my time for money.
