Hey guys.
I'm currently working in sales, and on the lookout for a change.
I have two prospective jobs that are very different and it's becoming difficult for me to decide which route to take.
Of course, my main goal is to be in the fastlane as a business owner.
Job A - Digital Marketing
Pros
- Marketing is a very useful tool to have, particularily when starting a business.
- The money is good and it offers good career prospects.
Cons
- Working in an office makes me bored/anxious.
- The job does not particularily excite me, and I do not have a real flair for marketing.
Job B - Roofing
Pros
- I really enjoy physical work, and am fairly good at it.
- The idea of owning my own roofing company in the future excites me, despite it not being fastlane.
Cons
- The pay is not particularily good, unsure of future prospects.
So I am at a slight loss. Ideally within 5 years I would like to have my own business, and can see with roofing that it would be an activity I at least some-what enjoy on a day-to-day basis. However in terms of fastlane success, marketing may allow me to garner more skills and put them into effect.
