you dont need an expensive shopify theme. there all basically the same thing. i would test with the free one, then update later, switching themes in shopify is very easy.

Thanks Vick 😀 but unfortunately or fortunately I have already taken the plunge!! Haha.. I wanted to do advanced filtering for the art I had e.g. Allow buyers to filter by color, style, subject, etc.

Shopify doesn't allow this.. I've spent the last week+ doing up my site on Wordpress. I must say it's 1000 times harder than shopify. The functionality and control is amazing though.

Completely customisable but steep learning curve, and requires a certain level of HTML/CSS coding knowledge.
