Where to sell UK registered company?

Looking to sell or close my company. As I heard there is an option to sell it but have no idea where to find potential buyers in UK. Any intel on this?

One idea would be to sound out your competitors to see if they would like the opportunity to buy your customer base and products. The last company I worked for was sold to a competitor, they originally said it was so that they could expand their product line to double their appeal to the market, but in actual fact it was to close down a competitor. That didn't matter so much because they still paid for it.
