Where to find/hire tour guides?

Guys, any ideas where i can look for great tour guides to join our team?

I've checked local tour guide association - didn't work well, either great guides who don't have enough time cause they already run there own company or work with someone.
Or mediocre guides who are available - but we don't want them.

Any ideas?

So far main quality in guide i found crucial is ability to make travelers feel relaxed, entertained, trust you - so often knowledge is secondary part, and social skills are first.

One of the great guides we have now is former bartender

I think there a few marketplaces out there that offer this, but its usually the guide who signs up to get work. Sorry I cannot recall the name(s) of the sites.

I think you need to do more research aka google it.

Maybe you can say what geographic area you are looking for guides and someone on the forum can help you out.

Have you tried Facebook groups? Craigslist ads? You can continue your search via Internet Marketing techniques if need be.

You might be onto some sort of business if you can solve this problem for yourself then sell the solution onto others with the same or similar problem.

Really, I have no Idea. But have you checked out how the current tour guides are?

I mean... you're from a "big company" and looking for qualified and well-experienced tour guides who wants to join your awesome team.

All they have to do is let you join a tour guided by them, and you examine the results.

When they are "qualified" you ask them if then want to work for your company with great security, paycheck, etc.

Reach out to them.

When you look at the typical ways, Social Media, etc. I think you will find ether broke tour guides or very bad ones. But that's just my opinion.
