Where to find good VA for web dev?

Anything considered a "hustle" and not necessarily a CENTS-based Fastlane

Upwork and Fiverr are obvious starting points. LinkedIn is good too and you can deal direct with the VA rather than through a third party. I do wonder though what exactly you mean by a ‘VA for web development and e-com’. Dev is a particular tech skill and not something I would expect a VA to have. Unless you mean experience of working with dev start-ups? You perhaps need to be a bit more specific about what you want.

There are several different types of VA's for this:

1) VA that claims to be able to manage a project - These come in all shapes and sizes. Most of them won't produce what you're wanting.
2) VA that is a developer - These are typically technically able to do what you want, but aren't good at figuring out a good strategy for meeting your business needs.
3) VA that is actually a software development project manager and business analyst - These will be able to listen to your business needs, design a cohesive plan for achieving them, and then manage the development project to get it done.

Guess which one is the most expensive?

Great question, thanks for responding. So when I say e commerce I mean just basic Wordpress or shoplift websites is all. Do you know specific websites?

When I say Econ websites just like shoplift or Wordpress websites. Would you happen to know specific websites other than upwork fiver?

With all respect, a VA - to my mind - is not someone whom I would expect to be able to build websites. You need a front-end developer for that. A VA is someone who can: organise your emails, make calls, organise your schedule, do your admin, and post your Ebay packages. Some will have specialist skills and experience e.g. HR/social media/accounts work, but website design and development, and 'a few minor changes' are something you need a different kind of skill base for. And yes, it's more expensive. To quote the poster above, you get what you pay for.

Put it this way, I worked as a VA a few years ago when I was picking up digital marketing experience. Since then I have learnt how to build websites and - guess what - I charge a heck of a lot more than I did when I was writing blogs and doing social posts. (Not an advert btw, I'm not looking for work.)

"build websites" for whom?

Building amazon.com is insanely difficult. Building thefastlaneforum.com is difficult. JoeTheMechanicDownTheStreet.com is simple. JoesPizzaShopFranchise.com that competes with a lot of other pizza restaurants is difficult.

Simple = not much experience necessary
Difficult = A lot of marketing experience is necessary. Someone just starting out shouldn't bother with this level of difficulty. As a beginner, they don't know what they don't know.

So I see that you are talking about Wordpress for ecommerce, correct?
Can you share a bit more?
What will the project/s be about? Sell what?
What do you need assistnace with exactly?
And finally, why not learn a little bit about wordpress, maybe you can do this on your own and not realize it?

Please dont skip questions, none of them are rhetorical
